The blazer and tie, nice shoes, etc. is probably fine. Be pleasant and relaxed, but professional. Don't say anything negative about anything- yourself or past experiences. Just indicate that you are interested in the company and willing to be flexible and hard-working. Bring a pen and references, if you have any (for the application). Good luck.

Create a resume that shows what you can do for a Bookstore as an employee.
Dress professionally, and the corduroy blazer would be fine. Make sure everything is neat and clean.
When you go, remember this slogan used by an employer
Be Brief
Be Brilliant
Be Gone
When you introduce yourself, smile, be polite, and explain why you would like to be part of their team, and how you can help them.
Don't brag, but focus on what you can do to help them. By sharing how your experiences relate to services they need, you are showing them you are willing to be a team player.
Just remember that for the entire time you are there, until you leave the parking lot, you are in "interview mode"
Make sure that you follow any verbal instructions they give you, smile and then follow up with their instructions.
Be confident, not arrogant.
My very best wishes for you!

Be professional, wear a suit and tie if you have it with a fresh polish if the shoes are leather. The manager understands that a college student does not have a great deal of experience but you want to make the most of what you have.
Have your documents with you; Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, Driver's License or State Picture ID. Have an UNFOLDED copy of your resume or letters of reference available to present at the interview.
You are being hired based on your potential to learn the job, not what you have already done. Walk through the store to familiarize yourself with the locations of the book types, make sure you know where the signs are located for each area.
Your neat appearance is important as you will be representing the store and the manager to the public. Your papers being ready will show that you are prepared.
Good Luck!

1)Wear smart casual. You are not interviewing for a executive post. But make sure you're properly groomed. Neat & tidy hair, shaved beard.
2)Prepare all your relevant documents. Certificates, photos, etc.
3)Be honest with your answers. Be confident yet humble with your answers. Confidence does not equal to arrogance.
4)Most important of all, maintain a positive attitude at all times!! Even if you're rejected. Your positive attitude will impress the employer & it may get you other posts!!
