You're off.
In 2001, computers had average hard drives of 20 GB - that's 20,000 MB. so your phone, if it has 20 MB of storage has 1/1000 what your computer had in 2001.
20 MB drives where popular in the late 80's and early 90's. My first computer was a 286 with 40 MB (not GB) hard drive.
Flash technology can squeeze lots of info into a small space. Right now, if they wanted to, they could probably stick 4 GB into a phone - maybe even 8 GB or 16 GB. But that phone would be VERY expensive.

My first computer that had windows in it had 4 gigabytes. Today I saw a 1 terebyte hard drive for sale. I believe that is a 1000 gigabytes. That is a lot of difference in 6 years. Cell phones do not need any more memory than that if you are only using it just for a phone. I have a treo 650 and it has a 2 gig card in it. I use it for music, internet and games.........lots of difference in 5-6 years.

it really is very small thinking my Verizon prompt Voyager has 2 hundred+ MB. maximum telephones with Verizon prompt have one hundred fifty+ megabytes. Your telephone isn't Verizon, i recognize. Your telephone can carry perhaps 2 video clips, 2 songs, and 2 pictures. It likely can't use many gaming valuable factors.

what are you talking about? Computers in 2001 had about 40GB hard drive space minimum in 2001 on average and at least 256MB of ram.
So 20MB ram or hard drive space is way before 2001.
