VERY important. Being an only child and not having other people around my age, I can rely on my friends to be there for me. Anyways friends are like a "support system." They're there for me when I'm not feeling too great or when I just need someone to talk to. They make my life worth living and makes it fun every time. Friends are great to have and I'm so thankful for them.

The kind of understanding and closeness among relatives is being maifested in its own natural sense, inherent so to say. But then with friends and the relationship among friends what we all refer to as "frienship" is unique in its own way.
Anybody could consider herself or himself lucky if she or he could have one good friend for life, and true friends are rare to find.
Based on the availability of a true friend in relative terms what we note as 'friendship' really matters. As one grows in life with the kind of schedules that we have been laid with and as time passes by there should be a friend or friends to relate to, and this particular person(s) are the ones really who can comfort and guide at times when were are low.
Not necesary that we need to have friends whom we have seen and known for years. good friends can also be at far away distance that u are (geographical location), probably might not have seen or met in person, but still have maintained that good a relationship what we term as 'friendship'.
On the whole when we sum up the importance of friendship, it dawns to one and all that it is a relationship that is totally unique, uncorrupt, something to be cherished, never demanding etc., filled with cheerfulness and joy.

Extremely, maybe the MOST important. I would rather have 1 or 2 close friends than many acquaintances.
