linux sendmail server configuration?

hey no one answered.
seems much difficult to give proper answer.
anyway let me describe in few simple steps.(but not simple too...)
check whether sendmailpackage is loaded or not by using rpm -q
1.first of all configure ur server as DNS.(don't ask how 2 configure
dns)
2.if it is Red hat 7 or above go to /etc/mail ------u will find two files named sendmail.cf $sendmail.mc.Be careful and it is better to take backup the file sendmail.cf b4 proceeding.u'll have enter ur values at line number 86 as of line 85.(in rhel 9)ie.,copy the line 85 and renter as line 86 with ur requirements.same in line 123 too.
3.then compile this file (sendmail.mc)for sendmail.cf by using m4.
4.add the users as u needed to use mail login.(such as from outlook express)

if u got it better ok,otherwise goto

Hey dude, that's one of the toughest configuration. Too big and complicated to discuss here. The following site is still under construction but I wish 2 discuss similar things there. First I shall discuss DNS. Then may be sendmail. There's 2 other linux experts in our group. U may keep an watch there. With in 2/3 days another guy will discuss Netdump server there.
