I've just seen Halloween for the first time, I dont know i thought it was OK but not as good as everyone says it is. So that got me thinking which monster scares other people the most. To me the scariest one is Freddy Krugger from the 1st Nightmare on Elm St, maybe the 2nd but all the other ones after that were stupid. In Nightmare on Elm St 1 i think the scariest part was when he was walking down the ally with his arm stretching out...that always scares me, it just looks so creepy looking!!

Who scares you??

Since I'm a Stephen King fan ... not too much. But, if I have to pick one ... Hannibal Lector, from Silence of the Lambs. Mainly, because I KNOW that these human monsters actually exist, in the real world. *shudders*

Oh, and another one that I wouldn't care to meet up with, in a dark ally ... Marilyn Manson. He's the next best thing to Charles Manson. They creep the crap outta me!!

Other than Leather Face in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre,

El Brujo from The Missing totally creeped me out.

What ya dont get is that at the time, there had never been a movie like Halloween.

People had never seen anything like that before and it started a whole genre of copycats.

Real life is more scary than any crappy horror flick anyway once you get out into the real world.

Hannibal Lector. Is that how you spell the guy's name?

Freddy Krueger is a good one, too, and so is Pennywise. But the fact that Lector would cut you open and eat parts of you while you were still alive, cooking it and offering you a bite, well, he just REALLY creeps me out.

I don't watch horror films. They haunt me.
Hannibel Lector was the scariest man I have ever seen.
Mostly because he seemed so real... like a next door neighbor or a church elder or something.
Creepy

I would have to say Freddy Krugger for sure, no doubt about that and Michael Jackson; a man with a fake nose!?? What can be creepier than that?!

Michael Myers, the original mass murderer. Then Jason Vorhees...
Freddy is too cheesy to be scarey.
