you have many options- go to tools -internet options -delete cookies-click ok-delete files and check and fill in delete off line content-click ok - do not close that window now go into the content section where it says general, security, privacy, content -click content- click auto complete, click clear passwords, click clear forms, now go back to your general section, click settings and then click view files and you will see if any tempoary files are left , click edit and highlight them if any are left and then delete them and close only that small window --then click view objects and you will see a list of new programs, see if you recongnize all the names and any program added when you were visiting the site that may have installed there or go by the date, highlight it and delete it from there then close that window-then click general and clear your history, now click apply and close that window------ now go to your control panal and go into your programs section and see if they installed any program you did not want. just look through it and see by the date or by the name if there is a strange program there. if you find it uninstall it. now go back and see what is left in your green start menu if you see it there. now go to your trash folder and empty that as well.... now if that program is there.. if you have system restore it would be in xp program if you have it, you can go back to a few days and it will uninstall itself. but then you will have to disable it so it will not work in the background. by unchecking the square, but before you do the go back feature and made sure that program you do not want is not there. then enable it again the system restore. and it will erase all system restore points onces you disable and enable. and you can start from there. or you have another option by system mechanic 6 professional from walmart and it will find it and erase it for you, it cost 39.99 at walmart. other stores it costs 99.99 ... or you have another option to reinstall your recovery disk or xp or the program you have and it will erased it... also if you have xp. you can open a new account and delete the infected account along with that adware that is in it... . you could be buying your fiance a wedding ring or a gift and they installed adware and she would take the hint thus ruining your surprise gift or christmas gift. or you could have bought that used computer at a pawn shop and you want to clear it out to use it. ..

Go to tools, operations, clear history and delete all files.
or
Acessories
system tools
then Clean up

Make sure that you close your browsers and reopen a new one! (That's probably what's going on right now, still using old browser)
GL!
