I just found out that Gwen Stefani sent Madonna some baby clothes for her newly adopted child. The baby clothes are from Gwen's baby clothing line.
"She politely thanked Gwen but called her to say she and Guy disagree on the children wearing clothes that blatantly promote people's personal brands. She was touched but wasn't sure if Gwen was secretly trying to get publicity by sending her the gift," The Daily Mail quoted the source, as saying.
Um, I mean I know it's NOT right to NOT accept a gift. But then again, I don't know if it's the right thing to do or not if you feel that that person was using you to gain publicity.
Don't get me wrong. I like both of them.
What are your opinions on this?

I actually agree with Madonna on this one.
I would have handled it much better. Accepted the gifts and send a personal handwritten note of thanks.
Just not let My children wear it and send it Africa or somewhere else to "promote" the "cause". If Gwen ever questioned me, tell her in person. We are blessed and many others gifts and including yours helped others by your generosity, no matter what my "real belief" for her motivation may have been.

How rude of Madonna.She should of just graciously accepted
the gifts that someone gave her I mean come on why would Gwen need Madonnas bad publicity.I wonder how Gwen felt when she found out?Well I bet she will probably never send Madonna another thing .

Honestly Gwen is a new mom herself and she has plenty of publicity already so I think she is just being sweet and excited for other moms out there, even if it is Madonna. Madonna has every right to dress her kids how she sees fit.

Gwen Stefani. a million. She is youthful, hipper, in route of our technology. 2. Had hit singles like sweet destroy out, Hollaback female, 4 contained in the Morning.... Madonna had one about a clock. 3. Prettier, lives contained in the U.S.

I would have graciously accepted the clothes...kept my mouth shut...and then later on donate the clothes to a womens shelter for unwed mothers...everyone wins and no one needs to know

I don't think it was wrong.I don't feel babies should be marketing name brands either.Madonna has a right to raise her baby as she sees fit.
