Death is a common thing to think about . I don't think you should worry about death . I really don't think your going to die any time soon . First are you sick ? If not then don't worry . Do you have a dangerous job ? If you do be careful . Most people with hazardous job are careful in the first place . If not don't worry . Believe me your not going to die . We all are going to go some day . Just don't think so much about it . Take the dog for a walk . Eat some ice cream . Call a friend . Go out and have some fun . If your going to get a premonition get some lottery tickets .

Well really only you will make that decision, either to ignore or to be extremely cautious.
Was the premonition a dream or were you awake?
Either way you will see signs leading up to you vision which should be able to help you be cautious.

I don´t know, but last night i dreamed that someone was going to kill me with a gun, then I thought of the best thing to hold in my mind while that happened, and then I woke up. Maybe that was because of a combination of factors, maybe some guilt in doing something against my parent's wishes, and also the fact that I learned yesterday from my meditation teacher what to think of in an imminent danger of death, like if someone was going to kill me.

You are probaly feeling overwhelmed by life and just want to give up it is very rare to see your own death even the most powerful can't see there own future so watch your health because most likely it is a warning of a illness

maybe it is just something trying to tell you that you should let the ones close to you know how much they mean to you. I doubt that it means that you are going to die soon. Maybe its just a reminder to cherish life and the ones you love because life is short.

well no,if it just popped in your head and you are feeling bad before it did or you've been sick ,you never know,I've had premonitions that i payed attention to and it saved my life and Ive had others and tried to-warn people that I had them about,one died, one was in a bad accident and almost died,and I've had dreams about things happening and they came true just like i dreamed them...so I believe in premonitions.........maybe you should check yours out.

Ignore it. Nobody knows when he is going to die. Its one of life's mysteries.

Really, I think this happens to everyone. I do not know why, but I have had it happen myself.
