how often in a week do you call your wife?

When I'm in the US (same country) once a day, usually in the evening. When I am outside the US (Europe & Latin America), once every 2-3 days. When I am far outside the US (Asia) once every week. I travel almost every week, but mostly in the US. International trips tend to last longer (over weekends), but time differences and work schedules make it harder to communicate.

Explain to your wife that you are traveling for work not pleasure and the reason you work is so you can make money for your family to live. I hope she is understanding. I have seen many co-workers with both understanding and not understanding wives. The not understanding wives usually end-up divorced. Business travel is stressful enough without family problems. Remember, this is the type of career we choose long ago. Unfortunately, now it's too late to change because it would mean too much of a lifestyle (money) change.

I'm not overseas but I'm away from home for 3 or 4 weeks at a time.. Driving cross country keeps me away from home in attempts to provide a good home for my wife and children it's hard work and lonely but; you got to do what you got to do to provide for your family. However; I communicate with my family and more so the wife 3 or 4 times a day. When i was in the military and overseas I'd call home 2 or 3 times a week. But, back than it was a lot harder and cost alot more.

hi i am a wife at home and my hubby calls 4 or 5 times a day he does this because he loves me and misses me and he worrys that i am alone so much our kids are grown and have fly of there own but when possible i go with him that is the best
