I think I do.
If I look at my friends, many of them are still messing about after graduating varsity whereas I got myself a kickass job after going out and really searching for a good one. I put a lot of effort into what I do whether it was varsity or whatever else.
Also, if I compare myself to my colleagues at work, I finish my stuff waaaaaaaaaaay before them. That's why I can go on Yahoo Answers and do other stuff while they're still busy working hahaha
I reckon it's better to work hard now and reap the rewards later on. Otherwise, you could find yourself working fo a long time when you could have been finished long ago.

work for a living. living for pleasure. too many hours in a day for work. life is too short to work. we need more play. play at work.
let the suckers live to work.
do what is required, make it fun, then live when work is done!
