im in a motel that has internet but was told signal is not stong enough do i need wireles modem or what!?

They have two antanaes up I have a 56mbps g ubs that wont hold the signal long enough to pick up the internet the office said i would have to get a wireless modem. is this true or just a stronger g ubs or a wireless router. please help.

You need to get a better wireless card. Try a G+ or N card

Your card is probably fine, there are products that are available that can increase you range. Below is a link that is a good brand to buy. It is called a high gain antenna. This should fix you right up.
