im in a motel that has internet but was told signal is not stong enough do i need wireles modem or what!?

They have two antanaes up I have a 56mbps g ubs that wont hold the signal long enough to pick up the internet the office said i would have to get a wireless modem. is this true or just a stronger g ubs or a wireless router. please help.

Wireless modem? They obviously have no idea what they are talking about. They probably think you do not have wireless in your laptop. It is hard to tell what the problem is it could be the enycrption, or it might be that the router is only 11mbpsB.
