Its called PTSD...post traumatic stress disorder. Hes feeling alot of things right now.
I have never been in the military much less Iraq but, I can guarantee you he is very emotional and very little of it is because of you.
I think he wants someone to be there for him to talk with...not necessarily for sex. he has probably seen a lot of death and loss and wants someone he can count on just to stick around to talk to. Don't take it personally, you should be honored he cares enough to want to be your friend.

Miss Sherrublu, I'm going to say this in the most sincere and serious way I know how: He's crazy, unstable and potentially dangerous. Run, girl! People who act erratically like this are hazardous to themselves, but especially others. Leave him alone and don't look back. He has obviously used this web of deception before to lure others into his sick world. Free yourself now and you'll be glad you did. I pray you haven't divulged your real name and location to him. You know there has been a sharp rise in the number of women being killed by ex's. Please heed this warning seriously and be very careful. Don't allow any contact once you cut the ties. Be encouraged and walk in wisdom.

Sometimes a person can get caught up in the idea of being with someone on the net but its not true love. What you can do is block him and hopes for the best for him.

Please, please, discontinue all contact with this man. Either he is trying to work on your sympathy, which he would never do if he respected you and had your well-being at heart, or he is emotionally disturbed. He is not deserving of one more minute of your time. If you were to meet him, you could be in for big trouble.
If you are a young person, please talk to your parents or a teacher.

I DO hope that he doesnt know any personal info about you.
Please, let him know firmly that you cannot communicate with him any longer. He sounds delusional, thus his intensity.
