Yes, but it's a waste of money and they are money hungry. They try to sell you everything. I used to be a member and the information they gave was very basic. You can work for degrees, but you know they don't mean much. Only if you want to do the Corelian (spelling might be off) Trad. Then you may want to check it out. However, most traditional covens will not except it. I would highly reccomend a good book over the school. If you have access to an Elder that will be your best bet for a teacher. You can check out www.witchvox.com and see who and what is on there. As always don't take the first one you find. A teacher can take a long time to find. If you have any further questions about the school email me at erilynjer9@yahoo.com. I would be happy to answer them for you.

I have not heard some thing particularly unhealthy approximately them. Though I don't have any concept what they're instructing. So many Wiccans/Witches do not have a correct expertise of historical past or the origins of Wicca or the entire scope of Witchcraft. So many authors perpetuate those "Old Religion" fantasies or water down the Craft to new-age mumbo-jumbo. Personally I are not able to see studying a faith through a correspondence tuition. I suppose it is rather so much some thing we will have to reside and be side of, and that operating with a organization straight is such a lot profitable. Unless anyone had been going to instruct Wicca/Witchcraft or observe as clergy to get counseling licenses and/or be ready to participate in marriages and minister in prisons or beccome and military chaplain and such, I are not able to assume desiring to take categories.

I disagree with Erica below, I'm a member of Witch School and I've found the courses very informative, I've been a solitary witch for the past 8 years and there are plenty of things within the Correllian Tradition that resonate with me. As well as lots of courses, you can find a mentor to help you with your studies and meet other people who are studying the same courses.

If you complete the degree courses, you can apply to become clergy

I don't think that they are money hungry, they have a free basic membership as well as a paid membership and the money they earn via selling things on Ebay etc goes towards funding the basic (free) education on the site. they don't hound anyone for money and it is entirely up to the individual whether they purchase anything from them or not!

I'm really enjoying studying with them and have passed my first degree.

Yes, there is - in fact, there's a couple of different ones out there. Most of them are simply websites where you take online courses. That can be a bit of an impediment - in fact, in some cases it leads to some questionable situations (up to and including one person's claim that their *cat* passed some of the classes...)

Personal opinions go in either direction as to whether or not they're worthwhile - but, in general, if a good group is available locally for you, it's typically better and cheaper to to face-to-face learning.
