hey can u ppl plz tell me whats the best way i can gain weight, some ppl told me that weight lifting is good but i dont want to lift weights or else i wont be able to grow im only 5'5 right now and i weigh like 50kg (110pounds). what sort of a diet should i have and what kind of exercises should i do? i want to have some muscles, and currently i do only pushups and situps as exercise. one more thing, how do i work out my legs? i really dont like wearing shorts in public because my legs are kind of thin. any help would be appreciated, thanks!! =D

well if you want to gain weight, weight lifting will make your body more tone, but it wont make you look bigger.

to gain weight in the legs, ruN! my legs used to be toothpics till i started running! then I got the muscle in the legs and the sexyness. Just a little running a day...or if you do leg ups where you run just a little bit lifting your knees up to your chest that really works out your chest and a little bit of your abs as welL! but dont be in too much of a hurry to gain weight...I remember being 110 at age 15 now im 16 and weigh 126...but then again im 5'9 1/2. Dont be afraid to wear shorts...who really cares what other people think? and besides, my modo is "better skinny than fat"....good luck!

Dude it is not yet proven that weights could stunt your growth. That is a scientific theory that is being proven false rather quickly. For legs the best thing to do is run, alot!!!!!!! pushups and situps are great 2 for a natural workout. For the diet eat lots and lots of protien. Eggs, meat, and good stuff like that, but do not avoid eating carbs either, just eat less.

eat alot more than your usual amount in your overall during a day. you should be eating 5-6 small meals a day. Even your meals out throughout the day. The bigger you want to be, the more you have to eat and be consistant with it. you'll notice a difference in about a month or so. keep doing your pushups and situps.

Lunge squats combos are great for shapely legs. Check out www.beachbody.com for the actual way to do this. You should eat as healthy as possible and reduce sugar products. Try eating larger proportions. Good luck!

Hey im not a guy but im wondering if your still to young. If ur under 18 maybe youll spurt on your own soon. But if your already grown try GNC store they should have protein shakes. Eat more protein thats all you need.

If you're 5'5 and 110 pounds then you should't want to gain weight. You're fine, eating foods won't make you grow much and weight lifting won't stop you from growing.

Eat lots of red meat (Beef, elk, ext.) and drink protein shakes.

Run if you like working out.
