I have pictures that I would love to put on a disc to watch on tv with the sounds and all, but I can not figure out what kind of disc to buy that would work. It is obvious that I know nothing about a computer. Thanks

This really depends upon the DVD player and whether or not it has built-in capability. If it does, merely burning the images directly onto a CD or DVD should work.

dvd-r 8x speed are the most versatile

i work for a video production company and everything we send out to people are burn to 8x dvd-r

im preety sure weve never had any complaints

so the minus 8x would be ur best be look at the cover or front of ur dvd writter to insure it accepts dvd-rs first then fire one of sit back and enjoy your show

DVD-R or DVD+R, you need to figure out which kind of DVDR your burner supports and go with that. Some DVD burners support both types so you might not have to worry about it.
