I can handle conceit better than betrayal, especially from a friend/family member. It is harder to stand beside someone close to you who stabs you in the back. Keep in mind I will forgive them and get past the situation. However, if it continues It's harder to tolerate.

Conceit. It drives me nuts, but I can handle it. Betrayal on the other hand is one of the most painful things you can experience, depending on the level of betrayal.

Conceit, because I can choose not to associate with a person who is full of himself or herself a lot easier than I can let go of the feelings of betrayal caused by family or friends.

conseit means : a favorable and especially unduly high opinion of one's own abilities or worth.
And betrayal can mean : to be false or disloyal to, to divulge in a breach of confidence, or to make known unintentionally
I can not handle being around a conceited person, so I am more likely to be betrayed, which can be unintentional. If it is, I can forgive but if it is intentional, it will be a parting of the ways.

conceit - although the activity of fools is easier to handle than betrayal. I'd really rather not be around either.
