I like to drive, go window shopping or go to a restaurant and have a cup of coffee, and always, always ask God for help..

Some of the things I like to do when I feel sad are:
Cuddle someone (like husband, mum, little sister)
Go for a long walk (exercise is good)
Listen to happy music, or something I love
Do something I love (I love to sew and make things)
Think about all the great things that happen to me and all the people who love me
Have a massage
Generally do something to become distracted. This sounds like I get sad alot, well maybe I do. Its not because I am a sad person, I just get sad alot. Sometimes for no reason. I hope this helps.

I watch an Andy Hardy movie, call a friend and go to lunch, buy something for my granddaughter, or just take a nap.
Sounds like you may need some medication. Why don't you go to the doctor and see what they can give you to lighten this pain. Go to a psychiatrist...not an internist.

Anything, read the Bible, pray to God, go out and do some shopping (if you're a girl), go clubbing just as long as you don't sit at home doing nothing because if you do you will end up thinking about what made you sad and you'll be depressed all over again.

I noticed u feel sad when u have a lot of free time, when u r alone and don't have a lot to do. So get yourself busy. Don't be alone to much and make a list of things u like to do. Like roller-blade, watching a good movie, reading, shopping for cute little things, writing, dancing, go to church... and so many other things that u may like. I suggest u pray. That helps me a lot.

When I was depressed (to the point of painting my walls, ceiling and floor black) I found that exercise helped. Getting up and out, and going for a walk is a start. Finding out that I was valued by other people helped. Even if you don't have friends or family close to you, you can still find people at your church, synagogue, ashram or mosque. Isolation is your enemy.

Try to talk to a friend or family member that you can trust. You don't want to talk to someone that is completley judgemental, but someone that will basically listen and soothe your frustrations.
Another option might be listening to music but sometimes that can make you even sadder. Good Luck to you.
