Why does yolk of egg smells?

I don't think it smell at all, maybe it is just egg, the smell of raw egg, but i love its smell after beaten ^^

It shouldn't smell at all. If it smells bad, it probably contains bacteria--most likely salmonella. Don't eat it it.
