To live in the shadows of others? Or I’m I blind? Do they walk in my shadow as I walk in their’s?

It's all in your perspective, remember they all probably felt they are in the shadows too, no one knows how they will be percieved in the present or future. As Will Roger's once said: "Don't take yourself so seriously, just lead your life so you wouldn't be afraid to sell your parrot to the town gossip." :P

The point of all that?
Sometimes it's better to live in the shadows. You have no idea how much of a difference you make to people's lives...
And you'll probably never know.
But you do make a difference.

The thing about being a human with freedom of choices- we have the opportunity to step away from the shadows and in to the sunlight. We don't need to have anyone in our shadows unless you enjoy belittling people.
You have more power over your life than you realize.
You can look at shadows as a protection from the sun, or you can see them as darkness that imprisions you. When it comes right down to it YOU are the one who makes or breaks the shadows.
You have more choices than you have ever imagined.

Have you ever heard that life is what you make it? You will walk in the shadows of others as long as you fear making the journey on your own. You have to be the leader and not the follower. This is not something that others can do for you.

Go live on an island alone. But be warned: if you think to yourself, you will be doing so in our language and living in our shadow. If you invent your own language, this will be based on the grammar and the understanding of the world you got from growing up around us, and so you will be living in our shadows. Fate is the hand of cards you are given. Intelligence, looks, predispositions to virtue and vices. That's fate. But only you can play the game.
Live in the shadows of others? Of course but that doesn't need to be negative. Ever heard of learning to lead by following others? We are all connected to each other, leading following, uplifting, betraying....

I am not sure what you mean here, but with respect to inquiry, we 'stand on the shoulders of Titans,' because we have the benefit of all inquiry that preceded our own. With respect to mutual benefit, I think that rather than walking in each other's shadows, we walk in each other's light. I'm hardly one to speak, but I believe when we remove ego from our action, we don't worry about accolades any more than we worry about actually doing something worthwhile.

when there is light, there will be shadow... so why are you bothered by the shadow??.. you look only in the shadow, and not the light???
when you are walking in other's shadows, other's might be walking in your shadow's too... our life are often connected..
what is fate???

If you had enough then walk away
If its time to express you ideas or point of view do so
its no good to be someone's shadow
Don't let them step on you
