Either he has already found some one else or he realised that you deserved some one better and want you to move on with a happier life...

Sadly it may be that you no longer look like his ideal wife, or what he wanted before the marriage. You may of gained a few pounds, or things may just seem like routine in his life. And he wants a change. Most of the time it is because of what men watch on t.v., or see in dirty magazines. These worldly portrayals of women are so wrong, and unrealistic. Many men want a women who looks like a super model, and yet can do every thing else that wives do. A trophy wife, that other men can oogle over. How sad for them, that this is all superficial. Just ask your husband why he feels this way about you. Try to work it out. If he wants out, he is a selfish man, and I hope you will find someone who can treat you way better. You are valuable and I hope you don't let this bring you down for to long.

Because the relationship has broken down to such a point that the husband just finds its not fulfilling him anymore. There could be a lot of deep old hurts that just have never healed and its faded his feelings for you. Mabye he wants a nice free easy lifestyle that doesnt involve the mudane toil of marriage and he doesnt feel its worth the effort to put into the relationship anymore.

If you had watched too many dramas and soap operas, maybe you will be thinking that the husband is terminally-ill, going to jail soon, facing bankruptcy charges, lost his ambition in work/life and/or the wife has someone better.

He is being magnanimous by wanting her to leave him for her own good. But remember, this only happens on TV.

- if i were a husbend i'll never utter such words. if i get pain from her so badly(this means my wife gave me such pain that a husbend could ever imagine) i'll just leave her or may be a probability to say those words.

- if i'm not a good husbend that means i've a very bad reputation with my wife, this means i've a very bad character or lose character as i'm looking forward another woman in my life. i must say this to my wife leave her.

- if i'm such a husbend who has a lots of humor love to make fun & serious sense in my wife or just like to quarrel with her for sometimes(cuz this is good for health). i may say this to my wife.

- or if i'm just a regular husbend & want to hurt my wife once, so i may say so so... this is totally unwanted & foolishness of a husbend just hurting his wife without any reason...

--- take care

He is ignorant and says it in anger.
He does not realize what he is saying to her and the damage he is about to cause to himself.

OR

His wife has not given him what he needs to make him feel loved instead he feels hurt and regret. He stops caring about her out of pain. He does not want to put himself out there any longer so he pulls away.

OR

He wants to cheat or divorce her because he does not love her anymore.

There are times when individuals fall out of love for each other. There could be other reasons, such as non-trust and so forth.

He either wants her to feel bad and try hard to earn his love back, or he is feeling underappreciated and unloved from the wife.

For many reasons: He does not love her anymore,
he has somebody else,he want to get divorce,or he is testing her.
One main reason can be, that he is cheating on her.

that is horrible! I don't believe love dies, if it's true love. I believe love changes. He could have gone into the marraige with expectations, whenever you go into something and expect it to be a certain way, I promise you will be disappointed. or (maybe he's gay???)
