socialize. don't give up hope. life has its up and downs. There are plenty of interesting people out there to talk to . heck talk to me i can cheer you up? Take up a new hobby. Play guitar, take a trip, do something to get your mind of things. watch a funny movie. You just need to make yourself happy and you will start to enjoy your life more.

Do something different. Eat something sinfully rich you wouldn't normally eat because of sugar/calories/etc. Go for a walk somewhere you haven't gone before and find a new place to go for lunch or something. Go try on some new clothes, (you don't have to buy, just try them on to see how they look!).

Listen to music that is upbeat, makes you tap your toes and want to dance. Call a friend, make a new friend, talk to someone, anyone who is a good listener. Make a list of all the things in life that you have that you should appreciate. Make a list of things that you would like to achieve, what are some of the things that you could do right now to start acheiving them? Make goals, small ones, then larger ones.

Smile at someone - (you would be surprised at the reactions you get!) Forget about appearances, sing in the shower, do things you did as a child, like swinging, skipping, jumping. Physical activity is great for you when you are depressed.

But most of all, try to see a doctor about it if it lasts for more than a week, and see if you have a chemical imbalance or something. If you need a prescription, you would be amazed at what a difference it can make.

Almost everyone feels depressed at sometime in thier lives, just be aware that sometimes, you may need a doctors care rather than just a hot-fudge sundae. Hope this helps... been there.

Man, you are way too young for that shite. You need to ask yourself a lot of questions about why you feel that way, before anybody else can help you. There are just far too many possibilities for your depression and if anybody thinks they can cure it for you without knowing the reasons, well they can't.
I know I can't, but I bet you can. I learned a little exercise to help me understand my feelings and gain some knowledge about myself. Try it if you like;
Get a pen and a subject notebook, ask yourself a very simple question, write the question down with your right hand (if you are right handed), and write down your answer with your other hand. You will need to do this in an atmosphere without distractions. Just keep asking and answering. You will surprise yourself, not only with the answers, but also with the questions.
Oh, by the way, get lots of exercise and be careful with your diet. Lay off the booze, drugs, caffeine and sugar.

Happiness in America is a choice. If you are not happy, then change certain habits or ruts. It's all in your power.

He is the ONLY answer to life's problems. Call upon Him and He will hear you and He has promised to answer you. He says in HIs word in the book of the prophet Jeremaiah: if you seek Me, you will find Me... Do it today, you will not, I repeat, NOT regret this.

Common, go out and enjoy life, while there's life, there's hope and joyfulness... You cannot be you and feeling depressed, talk to people and smile at them...
