the longhorns will have to slaughter their remaining opponents and all the other teams ranked higher will have to lose.

I think it's out of the question at this point, as the odds are too long. Too many teams are going to have to lose for this to happen. It's still possible for them to win the Big XII though, and secure a BCS bowl, most likely the Fiesta. Have to beat Texas A&M first, and then Nebraska.

it all defend on how number 1 2 and 3 doing this weekend and the rest of the top 10 than it will determine, but i dont think they can climb up this late of a season

beating a&m will definitely be a plus, which they will only do if the defense shows up. getting to the conference championship and hopefully knockin off nebraska will get us back in the top 10 at least and a shot at a pretty good bowl, but unless the defense doesnt step it up we dont have a chance.

with 2 loses it will take a new season, and either osu or Mich is better then any team out there this year...unfortunately they have to play each other and that should be the game for the national championship.....one of them deserve it...we'll see this Saturday who that team is.....

They can't unless you get atleast 6 teams out of the top 10 to loose. Otherwise their going to the Cotton Bowl with whoever ends up 2nd in the PAC 10. (That's going to be USC after Cal beats em')

The only thing they can do is win their games, it is up to the other teams as to whether or not they climb up, they need those teams to lose.
