"doomed"? of course not. Nobody is doomed to anything. We make our own choices. In fact, choose NOT to spend your life alone and we on Yahoo answers will give you advice so that this does not happen.

being alone does not mean being lonely..some people actually enjoy being alone..u dont need a partner to b happy in life.....so i wont say doomed, thts a strong word..coz i dont think its a very bad thing....but if u really want a partner i say dont look too hard, true love will find u if u so want it for urself...

Well I have decided that that is the way it is for me as I am now 50. I have had enough of cheating men in my life, so I have decided to take another turn in my life. I no longer have time for a man in my life. I am just too busy now to get into a relationship.

Some of us don't view it as being "doomed" some of us view it as being free. Free to be who WE want to be free from the responsilbity of a partner. Free to choose who we WANT to be with. Alone doesn't equal lonely.

I DONT THINK ANYONE IS DOOMED TO BE ALONE BUT I DO THINK SOME SET THEIR RADIOR FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESNT FIT IN TO THEIR LIVES BECAUSE THEY TRY TO BE SOMETHING THEY ARENT
