Here's the scenario.
A military dictatorship.
A country that is KNOWN to have WMD's
That is KNOWN to have sold weapons technology to other countries you consider enemies
That is KNOWN to harbour terrorists.

There's a lot of possibilities there.

I think not - unless I felt there was a direct threat to the United States security.

Hell, I can think of at least one country that fits your criteria that's allegedly an allie!

Yes without a doubt especially if they were considered a threat to the USA. This is the reason we went into Iraq, the only difference is we thought they had WMD. We should have left out the idea of WMD and just said they were paying for terrorist and harboring them. Then we wouldn't have had a problem and the dems couldn't complain about anything.

If you are trying to make a case for the invasion of Iraq, forget it. They did not harbor terrorists. So what if they had a dictator. So what even if they had WMD's. So do we. The question is, are they an imminent threat to the U.S. The answer in the case of Iraq, is and was NO. They should not have been invaded.

You just described the reasons why North Korea and Iran should have been the Nations invaded...Iraq was not dangerous to us like those Two Nations are.

The US has WMDs. But we don't call it that.
