All animal, plant and fungi cells are eukaryotic. Every cell in your body is eukaryotic. Eukaryotic means it has a nucleus, mitochondria and other membrane-bound organelles.

Asking the function is silly. The fingers that are typing this message are composed of eukaryotic cells. So was the melon I ate for breakfast.

I'd write "Animals are made of eukaryotic cells which work together to preform all functions of animal life." if that was on a quiz. I'd also break down and cry for the degeneration of the American sciece curriculum, but that's just me.
