I am unable yo get rid of trojan win32. rajump. Please help. i went to avast.com, but even that has not help?

You can also go to www.eset.com. They have a remarkable product (free 30-day trial) nod32. which gets things most others overlook. There is also www.anti-trojan.org Panda is good because it offers a free online scan. I think they too offer a free trial. System mechanic is awesome too, another free trial- www.iolo.com- comes with kaspersky antivirus and antihacker - the system mechanic professional 6 version is awesome. Does all kinds of great stuff. I was so impressed with it, I bought it. You can get it pretty reasonable on ebay or wherever.

The trick is - after you download whatever of these you choose- some of them will require you to restart your computer. If so, do that. After that, then restart your computer in safe mode. 96% of infections, spyware, whatever, cannot boot up in safe mode. Run the program in safe mode. It gives a better chance of the software cleaning out the infection without them trying to stop the software from running. Safemode is restart the computer and press f8 key or the control key depending on version of windows I guess, until the menu choices come up. choose safe, and then run the antivirus or whatever. That should get rid of it. Then you can restart normally.

Try Spyware Doctor or Spycatcher Express 2006. Spyware Doctor will quarantine the virus and gives you the opportunity to delete it. I've also used Spybot, and Norton Antivirus by Symantic and they've caught viruses and I was able to delete them before they could do damage. To eliminate problems with Spyware and viruses always use a good program like one of the above for peace of mind.

For a trojan to be removed completely from a computer u need to scan it from pure dos.
