Lansinoh can help the sore nipples. Not sure how old your baby is, but you might also want to have a LLL Leader or a Lactation Consultant check your latch.
Breastfeeding is supply and demand. The more you nurse or pump, the more milk you will make. More frequent nursing sessions are more effective than longer nursing sessions when it comes to increasing production.
The link below is great for other ideas.
ETA:
Cabbage leaves are for engorgement, NOT for sore nipples. If you already have a supply problem DO NOT use cabbage leaves as they could make it worse!

Try mild heat on your breast before and during a feeding and then a cold compress after to ease the nipple pain. The warmth helps with the milk expression and over all will also help with your increase. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and milk yourself and pumping in between feedings can help but not too much or your nipples will be way sore. Also make sure the baby is latching on fully this helps with not have such sore nipples. For dry cracked nipples Aquaphor is great just wash before feeding the baby. I always made sure after every feeding and pumping I put on Lansinoh Cream. It really helps and is safe for the baby too. Keep that cycle up and you will be surprised how well you will do. Hope this helps and good luck.

Sore nipples: apply lansinoh, or another nipple cream regularly. Make sure that it's safe for baby to nurse without washing it off.
A little soreness can be normal, and will probably go away, but extreme soreness may be a sign of a latch problem. I've included advice about what to do for a damaged nipple in the links.
Milk supply: it's been my experience that most moms who fear they have low supply are actually fine. How to tell if your baby is getting enough- are they gaining weight appropriately? Are you seeing a good number wet/dirty diapers? (More specific info in the links)
If your baby has started acting hungry all the time, chances are this is simply a normal growth spurt, and you should just nurse more often- preferably on demand.
If you have looked at the information and still think you have low supply, make sure you're drinking enough water and nursing your baby on demand, not on a schedule. Then, starting to pump in addition to (but not instead of) your nursing sessions is a good next step. But seriously, I'd be surprised if you really do have low supply. It's rarer than most people think.
Last note: Don't supplement formula as a first step! This could cause you to have low supply when you didn't before. You should only start supplementing if you aren't seeing the weight gain or wet diapers that you should.

Make sure baby is latching on properly, lanolin cream helps, breast milk can also soothe sore nipples. You can increase your milk by nursing your baby more often, or by pumping. The more you nurse the more milk you will make. Make sure to drink every time your baby nurses. Eat healthy balanced diet,exc... Did you get info from hospital or doctor. Our hospital has lactation consultants that show new moms how to do everything. I remember with my first born my nipples were sooo sore I wanted to give up, thankfully I had my mom and a friend to reassure me that everything was going to get better and easier. The second time around it was a lot easier, now I'm soon expecting my third. Hang in there it all gets much easier!

Sore nipples will go away once you fet used to it. Feed your baby often and from each breast. Find a place you can relax with your baby and think good thoughts of your baby and the milk may "let down" easier thus decreasing the need for your baby to suck harder. If you are away from your baby pump. Look at pictures of your baby or carry a blanket that smells like your baby this helps. Take warm showers, or place hot packs on your breast to encourage milk let down. Also apply lanolin and keep nipples clean and moist

One of the lactation consultants in my mommies group recommended hyperswitching to increase supply (remove the baby from the one side and switch to the other frequently during a feeding). This might upset your baby, though. All the other stuff already mentioned is good too, except the beer. Non-alcoholic beer serves the same purpose and is good if your baby is new and still feeding all the time (in which case you don't have enough time in between feedings for alcohol). You may also want to try a supplement like Mother's Milk (available at Health Food Stores has fenugreek and some other herbs). Good luck!

There are special creams that help. Keep as clean and dry as possible. Make sure to alternate breasts when nursing. Drink plenty of water and milk, express your milk in between nursings. This encourages milk production.

u can apply butter after every feeding ,it works but takes some time.butter is safe and nothing happens to baby when it sucks the nipple.to increase breast milk -drink 8 tall glasses of water per day, drink at least3 glasses of milk,eat-fish,egg,mutton.and add lots of garlic in ur dishes.u can also have few pieces of garlic smashed in a cup of milk.and try frequent feedings as this increases its supply.make sure to feed every 2hours.and have good intake of food with lots of fruits and vegetables.
