Sometimes I cant get to sleep because Im afraid of ghosts, and mostly its because I think about dead friends and scary sh*t that I've seen constantly in my head. I also "talk to myself" in my head about funny stuff and things going on in my life. kinda like recapping my day but analyzing everything.

you need some physical activities that will distract you from so much thinking. Thinking is good to a point til it becomes an obsession. Thats when its time for a break. find a sport you like or a group activity so you can get outside yourself for awhile.

I think you're OK as long as you know it's you behind the voices.
When you start hearing voices that no one else can hear, that's when you should run to a psychologist -- or a parapsychologist!
I have to say, I talk to myself a lot -- sometimes even out loud. I often run through dialogues with people -- I often imagine word-fights, where I come out the winner with someone who put me down during the day. I want to be a writer, so sometimes I do a whole story in my head -- but I always know it's me.
You may have a gift for imagination, too. Try getting your fears and worries out by creative means -- writing poetry or songs, dancing, painting, making home videos. If nothing else, it helps you analyze everything more clearly. But, you might be really good at it, and make a living at it.

Talking to yourself isn't what psychiatrists mean when they refer to "hearing voices." That would be hearing what seem to be external voices, those of some other beings. It might sound like a radio that's just barely out of hearing, even, or absolutely clear.
It sounds to me like you're very anxious and talking to yourself as a self-comfort mechanism, more of a "racing thoughts" issue. Look that one up.
My stepson had severe ADHD and couldn't get to sleep because of racing thoughts. Adderall plus Paxil helped him sleep, despite Adderall being a stimulant, after the doses were adjusted to be just right. They helped him focus enough to calm down and break the hyperfocus that was keeping him awake.
Would it be possible for you to see a psychiatrist to see if she might be able to help you with this?
Good luck!

No you hear someone else's voice. No one you know in real life, but they talk to you like they have known you. The voices will know personal information that you may have never told anyone. It's usually a male voice BTW. Ususally very commanding or demanding.

definitely not.
atleast i hope not.
i do the same exact thing, and i used to ask myself the same question. at first i was afraid to tell anyone, cuz i would see those movies with the schizos and thought "oh no, what if thats me!" but after talking to friends i found out that everyone does it! if you don't do that then, well, you must be mindless!
This is perfectly normal, and actually very good.
so go on and keep talking to yourself!

No, everything's "normal" Bud...But, remember the only time you have to start to worry is when you start to answer yourself! If you see big, strapping gentlemen in white trench coats with a seringe in each hand coming your way....RUN and don't look back!

You can here voice of God when you are in critical time or when devil trying to destroy you. If any one praying for you God can speak to you directly or through somebody. In that way He tells you to call his name (Jesus) and ask you to come into his presence to protect you from evil.
