yes! I just wouldn't leave them there all night...especially small babies can slump down and it can cause trouble with breathing. An hour or so should be fine though!

For the first 4 months the carseat was the only place my son would sleep he was happy and content he slept better in his carseat than in his crib i think because it is more cozy and confined for them it allows them to feel secure rather than a big open crib. Theres nothing wrong with it at all . If hes happy there why change it?/

well you really shouldn't have to do that unless you baby has reflux. you really should get the baby in a routine otherwise the baby will always want to sleep in the carseat instead of the bed.

For a little while, yes (to give YOU a short break), but Dr's advise not leaving 'em in there for too long.

Their blood-oxygen level goes a little lower the longer they spend in that semi-upright position (which of course is not super good for any parts of their brain or body), and it is also not the greatest for their spinal cord.

I know, it sucks to have to take 'em out of their lil' seat when they're sleeping so peacefully, but as long as the baby's not in there all night, it doesn't do an immense amount of harm to the baby to leave him/her for a bit.

Good luck with your lil' one!!
Wishing you LOADS (or even just ENOUGH) sleep (even occasionally)..

no I don't think so, I would never let my baby sleep in her car seat unless she was in the car. that is not her bed it's a traveling devise. put the baby in a bassinet or crib and they will get used to it. because if your child does not get used to sleeping in their crib they may never want to sleep in it. then you will be sleeping with an infant in your bed and no privacy.

do you sleep on the floor? I don't see a problem the first couple of weeks, but if you do it for too long, it'll turn around and bite you in the end. Your baby will be afraid to go to sleep and wake up with you not there and might have a fit.

my baby slept in the carseat all the time. she would not sleep in the crib. they like being bundled and cradled because that reminds them of your woumb and being enclosed

Yes. I let my daughter sleep in her car seat . She also slept in her swing. I don't see anything wrong with it.
