Oddly enough yes...and I have attended only 2 MLB games in my life and I am 53.
Both were SD Padre games in San Diego. It was the second time I went...with my son about 1990-91.
The ball was hit up into our area of the stands, I pretended to bobble the ball and then let my 7 years old son catch it as I "dropped" it. He still has it today.
Don't recall who they played but thanks for the question. I hadn't thought of that wonderful memory in a very long time.

went to a pirates game and enrique wilson hit a foul ball over my head. but the ball hit the wire holding up the backscreen and dropped in the walkway right beside me. i jumped out of my seat and had my hands on the ball with another guy, AND some other guy was standing on the ball. i was 12yrs old so i think they let me have it. BUT when i look at the ball i can see where the ball hit the bat, where the ball hit the wire, and where the guys shoe mark is on the ball as well.

Count, im with you. I've gone to at least 10-20 Mets games a year since I was about 3 years old in 1984. I've been to about 6 games at Yankees Stadium. I've also been to Fenway Park, RFK Stadium and AT&T Park in San Francisco. The closest I ever got was sitting in the outfield at RFK before the Mets/Nationals game and Pedro Martinez threw me a ball, but he threw it too hard it went over my head into the next deck. Other than that I've come close, but never actually got one.

purely a minor league interest. I stay contained in the Seattle section. even as i replaced right into a baby the Mariners performed contained in the Kingdome, then they moved to Safeco field with the retractable roof, so video games are by no potential rained out or rain in the back of agenda. I went to the Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners AAA crew) interest once even as there replaced right into a rain put off. It replaced into the most suitable interest of the season and it replaced into between 2 communities tied for 1st position so that they quite somewhat had to do each and every thing conceivable to get the game in. It replaced into scheduled for 7:00 commence yet did not honestly commence until eventually about 8:30 through rain. I were given the tickets by artwork and they were all-inclusive club seats with loose beer, so I purely drank 1000's and sat round speaking about baseball.

Yes in 1987 I was at the Braves game when a foul ball was hit behind me, came bouncing back and into a seat directly behind me with two guys going for it. I reached between them and grabbed the ball and still have it today.

It was my first baseball game when the Cincinnati Reds played against the Florida Marlins(in Miami). Can't recall the exact date, but I caught Dontrelle Willis's first of many home runs. In the same game, Ken Griffey Jr, my favorite player, hit a triple. After the game, I was brought down to the locker rooms by one of the security staff and Dontrelle personally offered me season tickets because of the emotional significance that the ball meant to him. I however declined and told him that if I did change my mind, I would give him a call; and yes he did give me his cell phone number.(which has been since disconnected)

my bro got a playoff foul ball in game 3 of the 2001 american league division series (the Derek Jeter/Jeremy Giambi play at homeplate game). It was hit by eric chavez all the way up to the third deck; just straight up which is really rare at that ballpark.

I've caught four balls + one in NPB.
One tossed to me in batting practice at old County Stadium. Two HR batting practice balls at Sox Park (i.e. old Comsikey). One actual HR of Frank Thomas at new Comiskey.
And one HR ball at Yokohama Stadium off Eto of the Hiroshima Carp.
But I've never snagged a foul ball or even come close.
