which one should i get?is the video one really awsome and worth the money? or should i stick w/ the basic?

are you a gadget person? is the ipod for fun or for functionality? if you love watching videos on small screens (on buses, in waiting rooms or just for fun), you may want the video ipod. if you need to see details on videos, then you'll want to watch them on the big screen. the nano is small and very cute with its different colors. it's better if you want to exercise or jog. i like the video ipod because of the video aspect and i am a gadget person. it's fun to watch the videos just because i can. so get the video one if you just love new gadgets. it's well worth the money.

I have 2 GB nano no joke and my brother has 30GB i am kidding about this he said he should have got a nano 2GB he says that cause he does not seeing a small screen for a movie

I even have an iPod Nano and it sucks. It keeps breaking. My brother has an iPod, between the originals, and it became into the comparable way. there are a number of flaws and the product hasn't been perfected yet. Waste of $250.

For me,30GB video ipod! I think it's worth it.

get yourself a 30 GB ipod video.
Though if you're gonna be using it primarily while running/exercising, etc, it might be better to get the nano since it's flash based and won't damage easily

neither. ipod is bad news. the iriver only costs 15$ to replace the battery and it's a lot cheaper. you can use any software not JUST itunes.
