As a McDonald's manager let me just say, please look at the employees we have to choose from and have some pity on those of us with brains. Most of our employees are teenagers, so, right off the bat that should answer your question. Before you leave or drive away, no matter how pissed off they act, OPEN THE BAG AND MAKE SURE!!!!! It's especially hard when we're really busy. Make sure you tell them at the speaker and again at the last window. It's sad it has to be that way, sorry guys and gals.

From prior experience as a teen back in the day, if the employee does not put the type of sauce you want into the register, it does not come up on the screen of the individual who is packing the order, s they have no idea you wanted it.

The local McDonalds, put up a sign on their order board in the drive thru that states "please order condiments here" which says to me, that they are just cutting yet another corner to make another buck off of us!!! They don't hand out sauce unless it's requested or disgussed while ordering, how cheap is that???

Before we stopped eating at Mcdonald's years ago, they would not even pause at the window to wait for us to ask for something. We had to sit and sit until someone came to the window to ask for ketchup or bbq sauce. How rude. I could go on and on....There was one manager at Mcdonald's that would start charging for tartar sauce if we wanted more than 1. Someone ordered a fish filet and was charged for it. And then the same manager gives them away to anyone Who buys FRIES!!! Excuse me, they are not for fries in the first place! Oh well, I could go on and on, and who wants to eat their crappy food anyways!

Because the person taking the order neglected to ring in the sauces you requested, and the runner (who gets the orders together) didn't know you wanted them.

It's under the counter, not where they pack all the stuff into the bag, so it's the last thing they put in and therefore easy to forget.

it pisses me off too. i always check what they gave me in the bags before i leave and if they didnt give me any sause, i have to ask for it. i always ask for extra too, just incase i forget to check the next time. they probably are all just really cheap and want to save money or something like that.

It saves them money- less they give out the more money is saves them. I hate it too even when I ask for salt they don't give it to me. If they do, they give me one...one little salt pack for an order for myself an 3 other people.
