Assume everyone on myspace is fake, except the bands! Why, because you can create your persona any way you want and there is not anything to prove it. Actually the whole web is like that, a few web sites prove nothing, they can be built. Enjoy the music, hook up with your real friends in a single convenient place, but as for the rest always keep your eyes open, assuming they are pervs till you know better.

If you don't know the person offline before meeting him or her online (myspace or anywhere else), assume they're fake and don't give them any information about you.
