14 is the earliest I am aware of.
You could try to wait tables- a small restaurant may let you work for tips. But it's illegal, so you didn't hear it from me.
Or try baby-sitting and mowing lawns.

I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I can share my personal experience with you. When u are planning for a home based online work, be very careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site. I would like to share a link where you can make $600 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting a discussion and answering a discussion. the link is:
http://tinyurl.com/yhzzph

Its not bad after all, i am happy and making more. After sign up, do mail me to know the tips on how to increase your earning and also to get more website address..
Please let me know, if you have any queries. I will try my best to give you right answer

It depends on where you live because state laws do vary.
Check out the link below to find a local Department of Labor Agency in your area.
God Bless and best of luck.

in most states, you have to be fourteen and even then there are a lot of restrictions on the number of hours you work, what hours you work, etc. my advice would be to actively look for baby-sitting jobs.
