just plug -1.5 in for x and see if it equals 1.5.
2 X -1.5 = -3 -3 does not equal 1.5
so the answer is false

what's the line, if the line passes through the point (3,-2) and has the slope of three/4? accepted line equation y = mx + c y = (3/4)x + c ---- a million For c: putting factor (3,-2) in above equation y = (3/4)x + c -2 = (3/4)(3) + c -2 = 9/4 + c c = -2 - 9 / 4 c = (-8 - 9) / 4 c = -17/4 subsequently equation a million turns into y = (3/4)x + c y = (3/4)x - (17/4) and oh yeah what's the equation of the graph if the factors, are (0,4) and (0,-3)? is it, y=2/3x+4?? (x1,y1) = (0,4) (x2,y2) = (0,-3) y = [(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)] x + c y = [(-3-4)/(0-0)] x + c y = (-7/0)x + c y = (inf)x + c when you consider that line is a vertical line, subsequently it has no slope and subsequently its equation couldn't be plausible.

Hi, It line does not touch the point you mentionated.

Look: (-3/2,3/2) are equivalent to say if X=-3/2 then replacing this value en Y=2(x) I must obtain 3/2. But it is not true.

Y = 2(-3/2) = -3.

So one point in this graphic can be (-3/2, -3)

Bye.

This is simple. Just plug in your x point and y point in the equations and if they equal each other then its true, and if they do not equal then false. So in this case.

y = 2x
3/2 = 2(-3/2)
3/2 = -3 this is not true, so the point is not a solution in this case.

It depends on what value m is. It could be (-3/2, 3/2) or any other number.
