What I *liked* about drive-ins was the personal space. You could sit comfortably in your car and watch a movie without hearing someone snoring, slurping, crunching and/or talking. Seriously, I have bad luck going to the movie theaters. I live in Northern California and would definately love a drive-in theater.
Hope all works well!!

A great sound system for the speakers so the sound is super good. The old ones were notorious for having lousy sound. The second thing would be good food at the concession stand. Paying high prices for lousy popcorn or hot dogs will put you out of business real quick. Make the price as it was in the old days, so much per car. If it is set high enough you can make a good profit, too high as with theaters and fewer show up.

I absolutely love the drive-in in my town. My friends and I have been going there since we were kids. Some of the perks are that you can see 3 movies for the price of one (that's how they do it at ours), It's more relaxed than a movie theater, so you can talk and laugh (as long as you're not distracting), and in the off-season (spring and fall) they have $10 per carload. It's so much fun! You should definately do it!

I went to the drive in a couple times. What I like was that we could bring our own food and drinks. We didn't have to get ripped off, and spend like $30 on the expensive movie theater food.

I still prefer drive-in over walk-in theaters...Drive-ins are more comfortable....and the first movie is replayed after second movie.....and most have swap-meets on Saturday and Sundays .
