That aside, Luxery, comfort, resale but more importantly, the cost of driving. Ford parts are affordable. Having driven both, repaired both and many others, unless you can afford a high price per mile of opperation the Mercedes will experience, buy the Ford. They are very well built cars too. They are built for different segments of the market. Anr also remember, buying parts for a used Mercedes, even though the car second hand or third hand may be in the budget, even shock absorbers are over $100.00 a piece. good luck al

it depends on which ford you are talking about. the ford gt can compete with some mercedes. but your regular drive-to -the-grocery-store kind of ford are no contest.
