30th March 1981. I was attending an Interview in New Delhi for a world bank productivity study and was 36 years old. Was surprised to know that intelligence in USA had failed. Security lapses of the kind still exist in USA.

Wow, 1981....ok, I was a junior in highschool. I don't remember if we found out during school or if I found out after school. I remember wondering how it could have happened when they have all those secret service guys around a president all the time.

I was in sixth grade and found out when it was annouced on the PA speaker as we were leaving class.

I was in the second grade. I was in a Catholic school and was told to pray for his recovery. I didn't know why I should pray for someone I didn't know personally and why it would matter since everyone else was praying for him.
I prayed instead for my teacher to mind her own business on who I prayed for.
I was 8.
