how do you go about taking out money for a hardship which may occur and a person is in need of money, how does he/she retrieve money from retirement account? what do you present to the company to receive your money.

where i work, you can borrow money from your retirement account, and pay it back weekly, with interest so you are making a little money from your payments. you need to contact your financial investment company, either thru where you work, or directly and advise them of what you want to do. by borrowing, you are not responsible for paying taxes on the amount as opposed to withdrawing it. when you with draw money from your account, you will have to pay taxes on it and may have a penalty. as far as i know, you dont really have to give your company a reason for withdrawel, as it is your money..good luck
