why can't you watch a movie with a man without them naming off all the cars. 79 camero. oh look a 63 dodge. i just watched the movie cars and couldn't enjoy it.

It's a guy thing - some of us guys will do things like that when we feel insecure, or want to get attention. It's not always a good thing, but it makes us feel good that there's something we know about, and can share it with someone. Usually women have two options - ignore it and go on, while hurting the guy's feelings, or explain to him that while you are proud he knows so much about cars, to try and not bring them up during a movie so that you can both enjoy it - he can always talk to you about the movie after it is over....

My dad worked as an airplane mechanic for over 40 years before he retired. God help anyone who tried to watch a movie near him that has an airplane in it. Not only do you get a lesson in the model and year, but a history lesson on the contraption!

Cars, ugh...not the best movie. The cars big buggy eyes kinda weirded me out. AND Yes! - many of the men in the theater were naming the vehicle styles.

I Have a man that wont shut up no matter wat movie we r watching. I dont know why they do it but they have to comment on every little thing.
