If you could meet any ancestor who would it be? What would you ask them? Or want them to know? (great - greats and back, no grands)

I'd want to meet my great-grandfather, who was a ship captain, and go on a sailing trip with him around the carribean

I would go back to meet my great grandfather and great grand mother. I would ask them why they decided to come to America from Holland. I would also like to know what there life was like before they came.

When I was very young, my grandmother had a picture of an Indian lady that hung in her entry way. She told me that the lady was her grandmother. I guess I really didn't get interested about my heritage until after my grandmother died, but I have asked the few family members who are left on my grandmothers side, about my great great grandmother, (I don't even know her name) and no one seems to know anything about her. I would love to talk to her.

My great great grandfather traveled to America and crossed the plains as a pioneer. He endured great hardships doing so, including buring his newborn son along the way. I would like to talk to him to understand his motivation and his courage to go on even when things were really hard.

The berry brothers. My great grandmas older sisters sons.
They were outlaws back in 1870's. Were caught and hung. Would like to know what was in their heads.

My great-great-grandfather. I'd ask him how it felt when he stowed away on a boat for the US. I'd want them to know how much things have changed over the years.

I'd like to meet my great grandmother from Belgium. I would ask her what my grandpa was like as a child and what it was like during the war.
