The following are fantastic films that deal with homosexual themes:
"Brokeback Mountain"
"Kissing Jessica Stein"
"But, I'm a Cheerleader"
"Gia"
"Philedelphia"
An decent "gay movie" is "The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy"
The film "Three to Tango" has gay elements; and in the film "Best Men" Dean Cain plays a gay character in the ensemble comedy/tragedy "Best Men."
The following are not "gay movies," but are considered to be a little homoerotic:
"Interview with a Vampire"
"Foxfire" starring a young Angelina Jolie
There are many movies that deal with homosexual elements & issues. Some good, some not so good. You should check amazon.com & perhaps imdb.com.
Good luck & happy movie watching.

You don't say whether or not you are looking for male or female "gay" so I'm giving you a list of both that I am familiar with.
Philadelphia (Very well known regarding Aids)
Broke Back Mountain - (duh)
Kissing Jessica Stein (Funny about female coming out ...)
These are all (not so well known) "romantic" movies ..
Broken Hearts Club
Trick
All over the guy
Bedrooms and hallways
Latter days
Maurice
I think I do
Friends and family (for a laugh)
Common ground (for a historical view)
Get real and Edge of seventeen (good coming out movies)
Love, Valour, Compassion (about friends and lovers)

I'd have to know your collection first, but "The Birdcage" (robin williams) is absolutely hilarious. Also, "It's My Party" is a very poignant flick from the early 90's starring Eric Roberts. good luck.
