we like to invite people to eat and eat and eat... although we know sometimes that the person is so full... it's not bad though....

Have you gone to Bohol Province? The month of May in Bohol is crazy. Almost everyday, there is a village fiesta in the island. They basically invite everyone to eat especially if you are a foreigner. They will feed you like a stuffed pig :) If you go to a village with a fiesta, expect FOOD! I suggest you eat lightly and if you feel you just had enough, politely refuse with a smile and a joke or two.

Well, Jordan, I hope you loved the taste of our food here. Were you able to eat sinigang na baboy or baka or manok or fish? Were you able to eat Kare-Kare, Diningdeng, Pakbet, Chicken Pork Adobo, Rellenong Bangos and Rambutan as well as Marang and Durian? Oh, these are so delicious :)
Have you seen the Banaue Rice Terraces? There are lots of beautiful places here. Oh, by the way, did you jog every morning? If you do that, you won't gain additional weight. I hope you will return to the Philippines.

Yes, we always make visitors feel like they are at home. If u were so full and could not eat anymore, you could say this next time u visit the Philippines: "Pasensha na po kayo, busog na ako po." They won't be offended. =0) I know because I'm a Filipina. Hope this helps!

Its a custom to ask the guests when eating in the Philippines.
but it doesn't mean that you'll need to eat with them...
they expect you to answer, that you are full already.. lol ^^"

Filipinos are just too hospitable... always pleasing their guests. im guessing you're not a filipino, but they do the same exact thing with their "kababayans" or with other filipinos as well.
its been part of the filipino custom... they wont get offended though, when you refuse such offers....
hope you had a good stay here.
