i like those comedy/romance ones-like Fruitsbasket. n those dramatic/thoughtful ones like Full Metal Alchemist...is there any anime that has BOTH of those types???...um...please answer.

How about El Hazard? It has a TV series, but I'm talking about the 6 episode OAV. EXCELLENT show. Funny, good serious story plot as well, some romance, great imagination in the design of the world. It's by far one of the top Anime of all time (IMO)

Yes. All the full metal panic series has those qualities to your liking. I would have to agree that you should watch FM Panic. But other animes that arent mentioned that would fit this would be Karin, Princess Tutu, Diamond Daydreams/Dust Drops, and Moonphase.

well, if u like FMA, and Fruitsbasket, then u shud surely check out Inu Yasha, Getbackers, Hungry Heart, School Rumble and Full Metal Panic. these are awesome animes.

Chobits.a little hentai at times but behind the comedy and hentai,there is actually a deep meaning behind it.
Gakuen Alice will be a pretty clean one and it is a really hilarious anime. There is actually a meaning behind it too.
Actually,most anime have deep meanings behind them according to the author's intention.do check out more anime out!!!!

OHHHH WATCH OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB!!!!!!!!!!! That's one awesome comedy/romance anime. This girl said that she liked it so much that it was better than Fruits Basket and I kinda have to agree. Tamaki RULES!!!!!!!!!

for romance i dont really know which one you should watch but for dramatic and comedy, you should watch Naruto. i know everyone hates filler but this is a really good anime..(^-^)
