Hal Jordan could give Tony Stark the opportunity to gold plate his armor FIRST and STILL beat him...! I don't care how many suits of armor Stark can control at once, it doesn't matter how fast he heals, so what if he can control computers with his mind? GL can control the Power Ring with his mind, and that is a weapon system light years in advance of anything ever made on Earth. The rring was invented by the immortal Guardians, for goodness' sake! It is the product of a science so far advanced, it might as well be psionic in nature.
The Guardians surely included a can opener in their Swiss Army Ring, didn't they?

Iron Man. He is virtually invincible after the extremis episode, he can now link to computers and electronics with his mind and control them. Has a healing factor like wolverines and don't forget about the armor that made him one of the most powerfull characters in the marvel universe BEFORE THIS.
even without the armor green lantern would loose, badly.
A fairer question would be Iron Man vs. the entire justice league. the justice league would still lose as Iron Man can now control his armor, or multiple armors and not even be inside it.
If Iron Man's armors can match thor and the hulk, it would be like fighting an army of a hundred thors and hulks.
Green lantern alone against one would not stand a chance, the entire green lantern corps would not stand a chance.
ever see the movie the "lawnmower man"? Thats where tony stark is headed with his new powers.
Not to mention green lantern also has the sissy weakness of his ring not working against yellow, which is a color in iron man's armor, but for arguments sake if we took away his pansy weakness, lantern would still have his *** kicked royally.

Green Lantern would win if his ring was fully charged. He can create anything that he can imagine with the ring. He can turn the energy in a chain saw and just cut through Iron Man's suit. Now if his ring wasn't fully charged then it would be a fight that either could win. But with a fully charged ring Tony doesn't stand a chance.

i like iron man i never got green lantern until geoff johns started writing it and i think it depends on which green lantern i say hal jordan would win but if it was kyle rayner iron man would win

Most of Iron Mans Armor is yellow, GLs ring doesn't do well against yellow. Iron Man Wins.
