Without a doubt! Many deserving teams will get shut out. For example, Wisconsin, who is currently 8th in the BCS cannot play in a BCS game because a conference can only bring a max of 2 teams. What a shame. Also, with so much league inparity, the thought of Lousiville or Rutgers going to the "championship game" base solely on record and a computer score is scary. Let them play it out!!!

How many games you plan on watching????

The season would be way too short, or you would draw out the season. There is a reason college basketball has March Madness - too many teams!

It would be a statistician's nightmare to figure out who is going into the playoffs, and what the criteria is. I mean, how many teams are ranked out of the top 10 with only 1 loss? You gonna exclude them due to their schedule toughness? And the fairness for the smaller schools would not be there.

Until they can come up with a fair system, I say leave things the way they are right now.

Yes, how can anyone decide which one loss team will face the winner of Michigan v Ohio State. It is a shame that if they do not get a rematch. It will prove that under the current system its does not matter if you lose just when you lose. You will never have a real National Champion unless you go to a playoff.

I say no playoffs, that would ruin college football. Think about it, every game in college is like a playoff game right now.

All this talk is what has always made college football as exciting as it is.

No, the BCS is the best we'll ever get because of economic benefits for the major conferences who get up to 8 guaranteed bowl slots and the presence of the bowl system for decades (tradition)

Yeap, we need a playoff system like the NFL. But someone there in the NCAA hasn't realized that we ain't living in the 20th Century anymore. They should chop his head off.

The BCS is a scam....a crock of crap.

The only way to prove who is tops, is to have a playoff system, just as in any other sport.

Absolutely. I'd watch much more college football if I knew there would be an undisputed champ at the end.
