I know from personal experience. Last year, I spent three week in
Ghana (Accra, Cape Coast, Kumasi and surrounding areas) and the water (16 oz.) bought there similar to bottled water here (Coca-Cola is a primary bottler) and can be bought for around 5000 Cedis (approx. 50 cents). Each country may have a different conversion standard.
However before traveling I read through the CDC's online information regarding travel, food, and water; i.e. Traveler's Health.
I hope this helps and let me know if I can offer any more info.

Yes, S Africans do use an excessive amount of water...only a few are mindful of retaining water. Swimming swimming pools and the prime evaporation cost do not support both. What controlling approaches are there? I certainly not knew of any whilst I lived in SA besides for the occasional water rationing throughout drought instances. I strongly consider that it is extremely indispensable to difference the way in which S African use water which could be very priceless in this type of dry nation. Of direction it begins within the colleges with schooling. As a loved ones we have now taught our kids to not be wasteful...we bathe for four-5mins max, do not run the scorching water faucet to warmness up throughout iciness instances, percentage our tub water, wash our automobiles with a bucket of water, and so forth. Sad such a lot of men and women could not care much less.

In Nigeria, the bottled water "EVA" by coca cola is around US$1 per 1.5 ltr bottle. Lesser brands can be had for as low as US$0.7 The street vendors sell bulk water from unknown sources for as low as US$0.2 for the same volume but I wouldn't drink it, use it for wash may be.

90% of water are by well, including all the beverage companies and industries. Quality range from good to mud.
