If you do not have a history of seizures, a head injury, or an eating disorder, Wellbutrin might be what you are looking for. It generally does not cause weight gain or loss of libido. For me, it is a highly effective antidepressant with pretty much no side effects. I take 300 mg of Wellbutrin XL. I've been on various combinations of about 18 psych meds over the past 12 years or so. All the other antidepressants I have tried effected my libido significantly and that was the reason I eventually went off of each of them. The SSRI's (Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa, Lexapro, etc) & Effexor are notorious for having sexual side effects...which personally I think really sucks and is not fair! I know it's kind of embarrassing to talk about with the doctor, but that's really the best place to go with this dilemma. They hear this a lot.

Talk to your doctor or psychiatrist (whoever prescribed the medication to begin with) about getting you switched to a different anti-depressant. Personal recommendations won't work in this case because the way a medication affects one person isn't the same for everyone.

As a male I can tell you that Prozac did a number on my sex drive. I did switch over to Lexapro which, although it didn't improve my drive, I found it to be a male enhancement. Another words, I lasted longer and was "harder", please pardon my bluntness.
