The longest muscle in the human body is the Quadracept, the large muscle in your upper leg. It's also the second strongest, the heart being the strongest. Over 60% of your total body weight is in your legs(below the waist).

Seriously, it's the Gastrocnemius muscle. It runs from behind the knee down to the achilles tendon.
